Overview
Morpeko V-UNION is a great V-UNION Pokemon with a potential to OHKO any Pokemon VMAX. Its HP [310] is rather on the low end among Pokemon V and it has no Resistance so it is not very tough. As expected from LIghtning Pokemon, Morpeko V-UNION has Fighting Weakness. Also, Morpeko V-UNION is not very fast Pokemon as you need 2 Energy to retreat it.
Burst Wheel has the highest damage among Morpeko V-UNION attacks and it is the best attack. This attack does 100 damage for each Energy you discarded from Morpeko V-UNION and you need 3 Energy [1 Lightning and 2 Colorless Energy] to use it Depending on your opponent's Active Pokemon HP, you can discard 4, 3 or 2 Energy from it to deal 400 damage, 300 damage or 200 damage and OHKO your opponent's Active Pokemon. But, you need to re-attach Energy to Morpeko V-UNION to use Burst Wheel again.
On the other hand, if your opponent Active Pokemon HP is less than or equal to 160, you can simply use Morpeko V-UNION attack Lightning Ball to deal 160 damage and OHKO it. Lightning Ball also requires the same number of Energy as Burst Wheel.
Like other Pokemon V-UNION, Morpeko V-UNION first attack is Union Gain which requires 1 Colorless Energy to use and let you attach 2 Lightning Energy from your discard pile to Morpeko V-UNON. The second attack, All You Can Eat can be used to draw cards until you have 10 cards in your hand and the attack requires 2 Colorless Energy to use. You won't be using these two attacks most of the time as this deck will focus mainly on Burst Wheel.
Another Attacker
All Pokemn V-UNION deck need secondary attack because you can't put more than 1 copy of Pokemon V-UNION in your deck. For this deck, Vikavolt V is chosen as secondary attacker. It is chosen mainly because of Paralyzing Bolt. Although this attack has low damage of 50, it prevents your opponent from using Items. Doing so, your opponent will take more turns to set up their strategy as most of the decks rely of Items like Quick Ball, Level Ball etc to set up.
It will be even better if you switch your opponent's non-attacker from their Bench using Boss's Order and then use Paralyzing Volt . Then, it will be very difficult for your opponent to retreat that non-attacks as your opponent can't either us Switch or Air Balloon. While you are stalling your opponent, you can also discard Morpekon V-UNION pieces from your deck. So that, you can set it up as soon as possible.
Energy Setup
As I mentioned earlier, you need to discard Energy after using Morpeko V-UNION Burst Wheel. Thus, there is a need to recharge Energy every turn for Morpeko V-UNION. The best way to accelerate Energy to Morpeko V-UNION is by using Flaaffy Ability Dynamotor. This Ability let you attach 1 Lightning Energy from your discard pile to 1 of your Benched Pokemon. With 3 Flaaffy, you will be able to attach 3 Lightning Energy to Morpeko V-UNION every turn as long as there is enough Energy in your discard pile.
However, to attach Energy to Morpeko V-UNION from discard pile, you need to retreat it first. After that, you need to switch it to Active Spot again. To do that, 1 of your Benched Pokemon will 2 or less Retreat Cost must equip with Air Balloon. For instance, you can equip Air Balloon to Flaaffy. The first step is to swap Morpeko V-UNION with your Benched that has Air Ballon by using "Switch" . Then, attach 3 Lightning Energy to Morpeko V-UNION from your discard pile by using Dynamortor Ability. After that, retreat the Active Pokemon and move Morpeko V-UNION to Active Spot again. If you follow the steps, you will be able to attack using Burst Wheel every turn.
Discarding Morpeko V-UNION
The requirement to put Pokemon V-UNION in play is that you need to have discards all 4 pieces from your deck or hand and combine all 4 pieces in the discard pile and then put it on your Bench. In other words, you must have Item, Ability or Supporter that can discard cards in your deck.
Professor's Research is the best card when comes to discarding cards, You can entirely discards your hands and draw 7 cards. If you hand is full with Morpeko V-UNION pieces, you might want to you can use it to discard all pieces. Sometimes, your hand might be mixed with cards which you want to keep and cards which you need to discard. In this situation, using Professor's Research is not a very wise decision. Instead, you can use Cinccino Ability Make Do or Ultra Ball to discard 1 or 2 cards respectively. In additon, Make Do let you draw 2 extra cards while Ultra Ball let you find 1 Pokemon from your deck.
You need to find Morpeko V-UNION pieces from your deck in order to discard efficiently from your hand using above methods. Adventurer's Discovery is the best cards to find Morpkeko V-UNION pieces as this Supporter let you find up to 3 Pokemon V from your deck. Once you find 3 pieces using Adventurer's Discovery, you can use Make Do Ability and Ultra Ball to discard those 3 Pieces and find the remaining piece from your deck by using Ultra Ball effect.
There is also a possibility that Morpeko V-UNION pieces might be in your Prize Pool. In that case, you can only use Peonia to put those pieces into your hand. Take note that the chance of finding Morpkeo V-UNION piece is 50% since Peonia onl let you put up to 3 Prize Cards into your hand without looking at those cards.
